As the Social Media Associate, the ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic and has 2-3 years of social media experience. The position will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the marketing, art, media, production, partnerships, touring and international departments. The candidate will run the global KIDZ BOP social media accounts and affiliated brands. A successful candidate needs to be extremely pop culture fluent, always up on the latest social media trends and features and understands what will resonate with the KIDZ BOP audiences, from types of posts, to correct trends, to new features and platforms. In this role, it's imperative that the candidate is proactive, and a resourceful self-starter who can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and evolution of brand's social strategy
Create weekly calendar for social media posts including art assets and post copy for KIDZ BOP, and affiliated brands
Schedule posts across all global platforms based on social media calendar
Monitor and moderate all global brand & talent accounts
Liaise and coordinate with social media agency
Coordinate with international team to localize social calendar for each territory
Serve as day-to-day point of contact for social media service representatives
Create social media plans for brand marketing campaigns
Find and execute social media trends as they occur
Work alongside marketing/PR department on brand's influencer marketing campaigns
Expand brand's presence onto new social media platforms
Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to ensure sales and partnership needs and obligations are met
Communicate all social asset needs to production and art department in timely manner to ensure necessary materials are created
Maintain fan interaction on all KIDZ BOP social platforms
Prepare weekly social media analytic report/update for the team
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in social media required
Fluency and experience with social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging platforms required
Passion for pop culture & understanding of when to activate in the fast paced pop culture world.
Strong interest in family entertainment, music, and pop culture
An early adopter of emerging social platforms and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must be proactive with ability to multi-task and prioritize and work in a fast paced environment.
Proven interpersonal skills and quick-thinking problem solver
Experience in social media/online analytics and social media scheduling tools required.
Experience with creating short form video content and with editing apps & in app editing.
Proficiency with Photoshop required.
Ability to speak and read a foreign language is a strong plus
Salary/Benefits
$60,000.00 - 65,000.00 per year
