Our Talent Acquisition Team is the opening act! We are a hands-on team of talent experts who find and identify top candidates for our businesses and keep the show going! We are passionate about finding that diamond in the rough and guiding them through the first act (interview) to the main event that they will call their careers.

The Student Programs Lead will get a chance to expand on our award-winning internship programs as well as spearhead the creation of new and innovative opportunities to identify the future talent of the music industry! This opportunity will give you the chance to work with senior leaders across some of our well-known labels, and help shape what WMG will look like for years to come.
Here you'll get to:
• Create, build and recruit for amazing and memorable student programs that leave a lasting impact on the next generation of top talent in the music industry.
• Develop a strong DEI strategy for early talent in partnership with our DEI Leadership across the US.
• Maintain a list of university/college contacts with a highlighted focus on HBCUs, small liberal arts colleges and public universities with high BIPOC enrollment.
• Deliver US-based branding, communications, trainings and major student program experiential events, including new hire orientation, Resume Writing Workshops, and Guest Speaker Panels, etc.
• Represent WMG's student programs and the overall company brand on campus and/or virtually, planning various visits and recruitment efforts.
• Partner with senior leadership on executive referrals, communications and updates as to the status of their candidacy including Workday processing.
• Manage Campus Recruitment budget for the US team as well as travel calendar for both the fall and spring semesters.
• Keep the Talent Acquisition team abreast of high achieving interns becoming eligible for full-time or temporary placement.
• Plan and coordinate Student Program Project execution for Emerging Talent Program, including invites to major executives, coordination with facilities, and schedules for associate presentations.
• Partner with the People Team in delegating tasks that will ensure our programs continue to move forward, in a timely fashion.
• Develop surveys, including evaluations, for the student programs and analyze results, making strategic changes based on feedback.
About you:
• You are innovative, you think of new ways to engage with diverse student populations.
• You are a counselor, you act as the bridge in helping our interns identify full-time opportunities and navigate the interview process at WMG.
• You are an expert, you act as a trusted advisor and professional to our businesses on all things related to our student programs.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience creating impactful internship/student programs in multiple locations for start-ups or large corporations.
• Passion for DEI recruitment and creating an inviting and inclusive experience.
• Whether it be advising a leader on why diversity matters or guiding a student on how to build meaningful relationships with the business, understand that no day is the same. Approach situations with flexibility and a positive ''can-do'' attitude.
• Take pride in your accomplishments, people internally and externally will recognize and reward the impact of the programs you've created and developed.

• Minimum 1 year of people management experience.
• Juggler & multi-tasker extraordinaire! Proven excellence in prioritization, time management and follow-up skills with an attention to detail.
• Passion! You are at your best when doing what you LOVE. Our Talent Acquisition team is exhilarated when helping top talent align their passions with their careers.
• Familiarity using Google Suite (Slides and Sheets in particular!)

Effective October 1st, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range
$70,000 to $120,000
