Creative Designer (Temp)
A little bit about our team:
The Rhino Art Department is the creative hub for the Global Catalog development arm of Warner Music Group. The art team handles ideation and creation of physical products, art for digital offerings, marketing assets, campaign tools for worldwide initiatives, and photo editing/research. We work on projects that support the greatest artists ever signed to Warner Music Group!
Your role:
This role will hold creative conversations for assigned projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and help coordinate with the project team to execute final art. They are responsible for vision, art from concept to completion, overseeing design and can balance a variety of assignments (both physical and digital).
Here you'll get to:
• Provide art direction, design and vision for physical packaging and marketing assets
• Collaborate with content development teams, artists, and management on imagery/storytelling
• Be a hands-on artist, charged with executing complex design and layout
• Work with the production team on timelines, samples, and materials
• Advise on photo research, curation, and licensing of relevant material
• Traffic art files through editorial, and obtain approvals
• Communicate with our business affairs team on licensing and contract questions
• Source, hire and manage a variety of external creative designers and illustrators
• Design or illustrate original art for campaign initiatives
• Manage budgets and company resources
About you:
• Accomplished art director with 3+ years of related design experience
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite design programs
• Expert knowledge of package design and digital asset creation
• Can handle several ongoing projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
• Strong conceptual designer, a thinker, and problem solver
• Love to contribute ideas but can also take direction
• Passion for music and a desire to translate that into amazing art
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and part of the team
• Excellent organization, project management and prioritization skills
We'd love it if you also had:
• A degree/certificate from an institute of higher learning (art/design related)
• Familiarity with physical packaging logistics, materials and finishes
• Experienced Mac user and are familiar with Google Workspace
• An understanding of video production and photography

Effective October 1st, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range
$28.15 to $32.15 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
