Operations Department

What You'll Do
The DGA Operations Department is seeking an individual to fill the role of a part-time Theater Manager. This applicant should have strong communication and public relations skills. The applicant will join a team of Theater Managers responsible for the management of one of the most prominent private screening event facilities in Hollywood. This candidate will be responsible for acting as a liaison with studio/distributor contracts, catering companies, security vendors and theater patrons. The ideal candidate will also stand for long periods of time and will be expected to work well in a team environment.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide the highest level of customer service to all DGA members, patrons, vendors, and colleagues.
•Facilitate and support a variety of internal meetings and event rentals from small committee meetings to large screenings and receptions.
•Communicate effectively with all levels of DGA management, in-house projection staff, security officers, parking staff, and engineers.
•Assist in the setup, execution, and strike of assigned DGA meetings and/or events rentals.
•Some lifting will be required.
•Supervise areas.
Qualifications
•A background in theater operations, facility management, and/or security is preferred.
•Must be available to work weeknights and weekends.
•Professional appearance is essential.
•Comply with strict business ethics guidelines.
•Required 20-25 hrs./wk.
