As a Planner at CAA Brand Consulting, you will play a vital role in supporting the team across the various strategy and planning projects that feed into the Labs creative process.
Your contributions will be instrumental in identifying business challenges, crafting tailored solutions, and amplifying our creative output.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Team: Collaborate with senior strategy, planning and data & analytics team members to contribute actively to strategy and planning sessions. You will be responsible for shadowing more experienced colleagues to build your strategic marketing skillset and grow your experience in how the Labs team and the creative process works.
• Understanding Agency Ways of Working: Familiarise yourself with CAA's core values: collaboration, integrity, resiliency, curiosity, and accountability. Embrace our agency's culture of curiosity and critical thinking, contributing positively to the team and the agency.
• Assisting in Creative Labs: Feed into creative brainstorming sessions and workshops, offering your input as the voice of the consumer. Help ensure that our creative output aligns with clear objectives, is insight-led, original, and exceeds expectations.
• Creative Strategy & Briefing: Contribute to the development and curation of agency-wide creative strategies and briefing processes. Working with the data & analytics team and through desk research you will support in bringing to bear the latest trends and insights to inform and inspire creative development.
• Client Support: Assist in delivering integrated communications and activation strategies for clients. Develop relationships with key stakeholders, internal teams, and associated agencies as well as contributing to talent/influencer search and identification strategies.
• New Business Contributions: Support in response to new business opportunities by providing original trends, insights that inspire thought-provoking and accountable creative strategies.
• Research & Insights: Where needed work alongside the data & analytics team to commission, conduct, and analyse tailored market research projects (quantitative and qualitative). Provide actionable insights to support account optimisation and creative campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Prior experience and knowledge of the job role, with a passion for strategic planning and creativity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within the team and with clients.
• Curiosity and a keen interest in industry trends, insights, and cultural developments.
• Proactive and resourceful attitude with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Familiarity with CAA BC's core values and commitment to uphold them in your work.
