HBO’s “Entourage” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” will hit broadcast syndication on Tribune stations in fall 2010, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and HBO announced today.
Tribune signed a three-year deal for “Curb” and “Entourage,” which covers all seven seasons of “Curb” and six seasons of “Entourage.”
The shows will be syndicated Monday through Friday, with additional weekend broadcasts in late-night time periods, the companies said.
“Tribune stations have a long tradition of successfully programming adult sitcoms in late fringe,” said Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. “‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and ‘Entourage’ represent ‘A’ sitcoms for that audience. We are thrilled during these challenging times to have crafted an arrangement that offers stations flexibility and tremendous upside.”
Spike TV will have the first crack at the syndicated element of “Entourage,”
announcing a deal Monday to begin airing the Hollywood-centric series in January.
