Nomi Bergman, president of Bright House Networks, and Rocco Commisso, chairman-CEO of Mediacom Communications Corp., will receive the 2009 Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership.
The National Cable & Telecommunications Association will present Charlie Collier, president and general manager of AMC, with the Vanguard Award for Young Leadership.
The award for programmers will go to CNN Worldwide President Jim Walton.

The 2009 Vanguard Awards ceremony will be held during the Cable Show ’09 at the NCTA’s 58th annual Convention & International Exposition in Washington, D.C., on April 3. BET Networks Chairman-CEO Debra Lee will present the awards.
Turner Broadcasting System Chairman-CEO Phil Kent served as chairman of the Vanguard awards committee this year.
