Litton's 'Street Court' Sells on WPIX in New York
Litton Entertainment’s “Street Court” picked up a major sale as the scene-of-the-crime court show has been sold for daytime airing to Tribune-owned WPIX-TV in New York, the distributor said. Slated for a fall start, “Court” follows Judge Michael “Mazz” Mazzariello, a former Brooklyn district attorney, as he makes rulings with litigants at the scene of each dispute. According to Litton, “Street Court” has also sold on stations in multiple station groups, including Belo, Barrington, Capitol, CBS, Cox, Hearst-Argyle, Journal, Local TV, Mission, Newport, Roberts, Sinclair and Weigel.
