Outside Magazine, Travel Channel Team for ‘Gone Missing’ Pilot

Outside Magazine’s TV division Outside Television and the Travel Channel are partnering to produce the pilot “Gone Missing.” The mystery-adventure show documents real-life disappearances. The pilot episode, which airs Nov. 2, explores the disappearance of Michael Rockefeller in New Guinea in 1961. Outside correspondent Tim Sohn will serve as host. Mr. Sohn’s story about the film crew’s behind-the-scenes encounters as they tracked Mr. Rockefeller’s ghost will appear in the November 2008 issue of Outside and at Outside Online.
