Online video distribution and research firm TubeMogul has launched a
Web marketplace to connect advertisers with Web video producers.
The marketplace includes profiles of popular Web shows and creators, along with viewership data and audience demographics.
For instance, YouTube producer Kevin Nalts has earned 35 million views and attracts a primarily male audience between the ages of 35 and 54.
TubeMogul users can create profiles so they can be included.
The marketplace is designed to help bring more ad dollars to online video. Forrester Research expects online video ad spending to hit $989 million this year, up from $471 million last year.
