Rasmussen’s computer just called for my political opinions...

The most interesting question: "Because he is limited by taking public funding, should the networks give equal time to John McCain in response to Barack Obama's 30 minute infomercial."

They asked for my opinion of McCain and Obama, but not the VP candidates.

They asked whether I thought my taxes would go up, down, or be the same under each candidate.

They asked whether I was certain I would vote... twice... the second time saying, "Sometimes, things happen that keep people from voting... so are you sure..."

Interesting experience. And I could have lied about every or any thing, including my sex and/or age, because it was a machine. Being someone who polled for The Harris Survey in 1984, I found that very curious. The other thing was that if I was a less tech-savvy person, the constant use of the phone to make my selections could have easily have become frustrating and kept me from finishing.
